Willie E. Thompson

Willie E. Thompson is a highly experienced Case Manager with more than 30 years of professional experience in insurance claims, risk management, and litigation support. His extensive background in both personal and commercial lines insurance provides valuable insight into complex legal and claims-related matters handled by the firm.

Mr. Thompson’s career includes 27 years with Nationwide Insurance Company, where he served as an Insurance Litigation Claims Specialist handling property and casualty claims, insurance litigation, underwriting, and risk inspections. His experience also extends to insurance sales, marketing, and supervisory roles, giving him a comprehensive understanding of insurance operations from every perspective.

Since 2015, Mr. Thompson has served as an Insurance Claims Consultant and Paralegal with Walton Law Group LLC, where he supports attorneys in handling personal injury, bodily injury, automobile accident, and slip-and-fall cases. His responsibilities include case evaluation, documentation management, claims analysis, and coordination with clients, insurers, and legal professionals to ensure cases progress efficiently and accurately.

In addition to his legal support role, Mr. Thompson is a Tennessee Notary Public at Large and a National Notary Association–Certified Notary Signing Agent. He has extensive experience conducting mortgage loan signings, refinances, loan modifications, reverse mortgages, foreclosures, and property inspections across multiple Tennessee counties.

Mr. Thompson holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Insurance and Risk Management from Mississippi State University. He is also credentialed as an Associate in Insurance Claims (AIC) and maintains Tennessee licenses in Property & Casualty and Life & Health insurance.

Known for his attention to detail, sound judgment, and analytical approach, Mr. Thompson is a confident decision-maker who brings professionalism, integrity, and dedication to every case. He is proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, OneNote, Evernote, and web-based case management and communication systems.

Outside of his professional work, Mr. Thompson is actively involved in community service, having served on nonprofit boards, as a church trustee, and as a long-standing elementary school reading tutor.
